​When the body is submerged in cold water, ideally below 50 degrees fahrenheit, it activates the body's “fight or flight” response. When this happens, the body produces a hormone called Norepinephrine. This hormone is a chemical that is naturally produced when the body’s adrenaline is raised. The production of Norepinephrine helps increase clarity and focus in the brain and can induce a state of forced meditation, among a slew of other positive benefits.

How it works:

Request to book a session and you will receive an email either approving or rescheduling your session. Once approved, you will receive an invoice. Due to the preparation involved, your appointment is not confirmed until payment is received. Once payment is received, that time slot will be removed from the calendar. *Please confirm appointment asap to ensure your time slot is not taken. Payment must be recieved a minimum of 2 hours prior to your session.

Know Before You Go

How do I schedule an appointment?

Use the links above to request a session. (You are also welcome to stop by or message us to see if there is availability.) You will receive either an approval or an option to reschedule, followed by an invoice.

 

*Please note -- Due to the preparations involved, your booking is not confirmed and the time slot will remain open for booking until payment is received. Invoice must be paid a minimum of 2 hours prior to appointment. We cannot hold reservations without advance payment.

How do I cancel my appointment?

How early should I arrive?

In an effort to maximize your time, please sign a waiver prior to arrival (link at bottom of page), and arrive a few minutes early to get instructions, use the restroom, etc. You will need to undress/dress in the allotted time slot for your appointment. Because there may be appointments scheduled after yours, if you are late, your session may not be pushed back.

 

What do I wear in the cold plunge?

Please bring a bathing suit to wear while in the Cold Plunge. It is advised to bring something warm and cozy to put on afterwards.

What do I bring?

Please come hydrated and bring a reusable water bottle.  You may bring headphones, or enjoy the silence. Towels will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

How cold does the cold plunge get?

The Cold Plunge can get down into the 30's or up into the 60's. We are happy to set it at your preferred temperature if you let us know when you book your session. Otherwise, we keep it in line with current Lake Travis temps.

 

How long do I need to stay in?

You will experience the benefits after just 3 minutes, but if you are an experienced plunger, you can use your discretion. Your allotted time includes a few minutes before and after to get dressed.

Do you have showers on site?

Unfortunately, we do not. Please plan accordingly.
