​When the body is submerged in cold water, ideally below 50 degrees fahrenheit, it activates the body's “fight or flight” response. When this happens, the body produces a hormone called Norepinephrine. This hormone is a chemical that is naturally produced when the body’s adrenaline is raised. The production of Norepinephrine helps increase clarity and focus in the brain and can induce a state of forced meditation, among a slew of other positive benefits.

Know Before You Go

How do I schedule an appointment?

Go to our BOOKING page to request a session at least 2 hours in advance. If you would like to schedule a session within 2 hours, you are welcome to stop by or message us to check availability. You will receive either an approval or an option to reschedule, followed by an invoice via email. Once the invoice is paid, the session is confirmed.

*IMPORTANT: Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received. Session requests expire 2 hours after invoice is sent. If you have not paid the invoice within that time, your approval will automatically be cancelled, your time slot released, and you will have to re-request a session. We cannot hold reservations without advance payment. After you've requested an appointment, check your email for confirmation via an invoice. Be sure to check your "junk" or "spam" folders and contact us if you do not receive a response.​

How early should I arrive?

In an effort to maximize your time, please sign a WAIVER prior to arrival and arrive a few minutes early to get instructions, use the restroom, etc. You will need to undress/dress in the allotted time slot for your appointment. Because there may be appointments scheduled after yours, if you are late, your session will not be pushed back.

 

What do I wear in the cold plunge?

Please bring a bathing suit to wear while in the Cold Plunge. It is advised to bring something warm, loose, and cozy to put on afterwards.

What do I bring?

Please arrive clean, free of oils and lotions, and hydrated. You will need to bring a reusable water bottle and may also bring headphones, or enjoy the silence. Towels will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

How cold does the cold plunge get?

The Cold Plunge can get down into the 30's or up into the 60's. If you are an experienced plunger, we can to set it at your preferred temperature (please include on your intake form when booking). Generally, we keep it around 50°F. It is advised to start at a higher temperature and gradually work your way down.

 

How long do I need to stay in?

You will experience the benefits after just 3 minutes, but if you are an experienced plunger, you can use your discretion (up to 10 minutes). Your allotted time includes the time it takes, before and after, to get dressed.

Do you have showers on site?

Unfortunately, we do not. Please plan accordingly.

What is the Cancellation Policy?​

Due to the preparations involved, cancellations require a minimum of 12 hrs advanced notice and all cancellations will incur a 25% Cancellation Fee. No refunds/rainchecks will be issued for no-shows or sessions cancelled within 12 hrs of appointment. Please contact us ASAP if you must cancel your appointment.​​
