Thai Massage

Thai Massage is a unique type of bodywork that combines stretching, acupressure, and gentle manipulation. It’s usually performed on a soft mat on the floor.  The therapist uses their hands, feet, elbows, and sometimes knees to work on the client's body. Please wear lose-fitting, comfortable clothing for this type of massage.

Elements of Thai Massage

Dynamic Stretching:

Beneficial in improving their overall flexibility and reducing the risk of injuries.

Targeted Pressure:

Applied pressure to specific points and focus on areas of the body that are stressed by repetitive movements or physical exertion to achieve relaxation in tight muscles, improve blood flow, and reduce pain.

Movement and Flow:

The therapist moves the athlete through various stretches and movements, helping warming up muscles before exercise or cooling down afterward, aiding in better performance and recovery.

Muscle Release:

The application of pressure and stretching techniques helps release tension in the muscles and cause less stiffness and soreness, as well as quicker recovery times.
